How to join
Benefits
- Advocacy. UMG advocates for its members nationally and internationally, with politicians, university governing bodies and key funders.
- Networking. UMG provides opportunities for its members to network both electronically via our email lists and website and in person at our regular seminars.
Membership fees
Our membership fee structure recognises that many university collections operate on small budgets. Umbrella membership provides a mechanism for several collections within a university to join collectively.
Small Institutional (for individual registered museums with a turnover below £500,000) £40.00
Large Institutional (for individual registered museums with a turnover over £500,000) £75.00
Small Umbrella (for groups of registered or unregistered collections or exhibition spaces with a combined annual turnover below £100,000) £50.00
Large Umbrella (for groups of registered or unregistered collections or exhibition spaces with a combined annual turnover above £100,000 and below £1,000,000) £75.00
